Eligibility

 

At Bachelor level

You are eligible for the 1st year of the Bachelor in Business program if you meet the following requirements:

18 years of age on December 31st of the school entry year
AND
You have completed 2 years of studies outside of France
AND
You hold or are in the process of obtaining (all academic subjects included):
- Either a non-French baccalaureate;
- Or a French baccalaureate but do not have French nationality.

You are eligible for entry into the 3rd year of the Bachelor in Business program if you meet the following requirements:

You have completed 2 years of studies outside of France
AND

You hold or are in the process of obtaining (all academic subjects included):
- Either a non-French BTS (advanced vocational certificate), DUT (2-year technical college degree), or 120 ECTS;
- Or a French BTS (advanced vocational certificate), DUT (2-year technical college degree), or 120 ECTS but do not have French nationality.

Master level

You are eligible for entry into the 1st year of the Master in Management program if you meet the following requirements:

You have completed 2 years of studies outside of France
AND
You hold or are in the process of obtaining (all academic subjects included)
- Either a non-French Bachelor degree or 180 ECTS;
- Or a French Bachelor degree/180 ECTS but do not have French nationality.

The programs

The Bachelor Business program

The Bachelor in Business (known as the Bachelor Marketing & Business within the school) is a generalist program designed to develop fundamental knowledge of Management.

The program is built on the following educational pillars:

  • Generalist learning
  • Hands-on teaching approach, including close student supervision
  • Exposure to the corporate world, including up to 14 months spent within a company
  • International exposure
  • Added value via specialist options in the 3rd year
  • Progressive learning in English

Successful applicants may enter the Bachelor program in the 1st or 3rd year. The program lasts 3 years:

  • 1st year in French or English (Dijon or Lyon):
    • Introduction to Management fundamentals (Marketing, Accounting Management, Corporate Law, Finance, etc.)
    • 2 mandatory foreign languages
    • A seminar examining major international institutions and foreign cultures and civilizations or a 4-week linguistic seminar in Ireland
    • Internship – introduction to corporate life via 2-4 weeks in a company in France or abroad
  • 2nd year in French or English (Dijon or Lyon):
    • Enhanced Management Techniques and International Component
    • “International development” seminar abroad to learn how to manage in culturally diverse contexts
    • Position-specific internship – 2-4 months in France or abroad
  • 3rd year in French or English (Dijon or Lyon):
    • Specialization in and mastery of core Management skills
    • 1 specialization in French and 3 specializations in English to be selected (cf. table below)
    • Optional semester abroad or double-degree in a BSB partner university o Project management internship – 3-6 months in France or abroad

Tuition fees: €7500 per year.

The Master in Management Grande Ecole Program

The Burgundy School of Business Master in Management Grande Ecole program provides generalist training via a flexible curriculum designed to offer the opportunity to specialize.

It is based on the following educational pillars:

  • Core Management, Marketing and Finance knowledge.
  • A specialist area to select from a choice of 14 according to each student’s professional project.
  • International exposure (semester and/or double degree abroad).
  • 9 months of in-company experience, in France and abroad.

The program is delivered over 2 years

  • M1 in French or English (Dijon):
    • Core courses taken by all students in order to acquire basic Management knowledge
    • Optional year off (Jan-Dec) for 2 x 6-month internships
    • Excellence tracks (Audit, Consulting)
    • A 4-month, position-specific internship
  • M2 in French or English (Dijon or Lyon):
  • 10 specializations in French and 5 in English to be selected (cf. table below)

  • Sandwich course for students who have taken a year off and aged under 26
    OR
  • 70 double degrees in 165 partner universities

  • 8 double degrees at BSB (MSc or Specialized Master):

International student reception

The Burgundy School of Business International Relations team provides support to international students by making available to them an accommodation platform, as well as informing them of accommodation vacancies in partner halls of residence (single or more spacious student bedrooms, furnished apartments etc.), according to their budget.

Association life
