What is the "Conférence des Grandes Ecoles" ?

The “Conférence” is a non-profit association founded in 1973.


It gathers:
  • 220 directors of French “Grandes Écoles”
  • Among which 37 Schools of Management and business form the “Chapitre des Grandes Écoles de Management”
  • 12 foreign universities
  • 24 institutions and organisations in higher education
  • 20 companies

Its role is:

  • to develop information and solidarity between its members,
  • to promote the “Grandes Écoles” system both on a national and international scale,
  • to encourage innovations in engineering and management education, to develop continuing education and research activities,
  • to act as a voice with government policy-makers and the research community.
