The well-being of each of our students: our main priority!

Published on 15/05/2017

ESC Pau Business School is a human-sized school, a big family who puts students at the heart of its priorities…

We put a great deal of attention on your individual support: before joining the school, when you arrive on campus and all along your schooling with us.

Since we know that leaving home to study abroad can be as exciting but as stressful, we put great care and attention into making sure that each of our students is well supported. “We guide you, advice you, coach you for the preparation for your Passworld tests and interviews”, explains Sofya Rudeshko, in charge of Pass-world recruitment at ESC Pau Business School.

Then as soon as you join our school, we make sure that we carry on supporting you. First we help you with all your French admin and help you to settle down. “We help you find an accommodation, using our own housing platform –housingescpau-, estate agencies or host families. Then we help you open a bank account – everything will have been prepared in advance – and get your debit card; we help you open a phone line at the best price. We even give you a phone card to call your family as soon as you arrive just to reassure them on your safe arrival. We take you to the prefecture to deal with the different administrative formalities. As Servanne Nivard from the ESC Pau BS Pass-world team says ”You will never be on your own, I will be there at your side!”

The “Integration Week” will give you the opportunity to discover your new surroundings. The team building activities, the sport and cultural outings by the coast and in the mountains will be unforgettable moments and will help you connect with other Passworld students. You will also follow an intercultural module which will help you decipher and understand the new culture codes you will be using. Finally you will be integrated in the French student cohort.

After this integration stage, you will be assigned a tutor, your main point of contact in the school. Your tutor will be the person who will follow and support you for any issues you may have (school life, courses, integration in Pau,…). You will also be supported by a Passworld student who joined the school a year ago.

You will also get help and support when looking for an internship. The Internship Department will provide you with internship offers and the Professional and Personal Development Department will help you with your CVs and interviews.

Of course, the ESC Pau BS Pass-world team stays available for you all year long!
